Manufacturing cocoa, chocolate and sugar confectionery
The main activity of RŪTA is the manufacturing of chocolate sweets, dragée and caramels. RŪTA‘s assortment consists of a range of approximately 300 different types, including specialized products such as organic and sugar-free confectionery. Ours sweets are made of extra high quality raw materials. Traditional and modern recipes are used in the manufacturing process. Food safety and quality management systems are in place according to the international standards ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 throughout the factory.
The company's activities and production
RŪTA the confectionery factory is proud of its long history. It was established in 1913 by Antanas Gricevičius. Since the very beginning RŪTA’s products are known for its special flavours. RŪTA is famous as a company, which cherishes old traditions; also successively applies the newest trends in its activity (modern recipes, improvement of technologies, original ideas of items presentation, cooperation with scientists, participating in international projects of EU). The RŪTA range is different from different varieties, flavours and shapes and is manufactured by hand and by equipment: sweets collections, chocolates with various fillings, truffles, dragée, nutty-cream sweets, jelly and whipped cream sweets, creams, soft caramel, sugar-free items, organic items, chocolate figures, marzipan, caramel.
